OVERVIEW.
Client: Demtech Ltd
Project: Drone Footage of Crane Dismantling Operation
Location: Schneider Electric, Leeds City Centre
Focus: Industrial Demolition | Aerial Documentation
Project Overview
Demtech Ltd brought me in to document the careful dismantling of a 10-ton overhead crane being removed from an active industrial site at Schneider Electric in the heart of Leeds. The job required close coordination, precision engineering, and careful logistics—all of which needed to be visually captured without interrupting operations on-site.
The Goal
To produce high-quality drone footage that showcased Demtech’s ability to safely and efficiently manage complex, large-scale dismantling work. The focus was on precision, scale, and control.
My Role
I coordinated drone flights around active machinery and site personnel, capturing everything from wide establishing shots to detailed close-ups of the crane being rigged, lifted, and removed. Timing was crucial, as the entire process had to be documented in real-time with minimal margin for error.
Deliverables
Multi-angle 4K drone footage of the full dismantling process
Edited video with clean transitions and key moment highlights
Stabilized clips for marketing, internal training, and project documentation
Outcome
The final video showcased Demtech’s technical capabilities and reinforced their expertise in complex dismantling jobs. It’s now being used as a powerful visual tool in both promotional content and client presentations.
